How a Token22 launch works, and what Safe, Fair Launch, and Custom Pair add.
Overview
LiveCreate and launch memecoins with advanced Token22 launch features. You fill in a form and your wallet signs. Token22 does not run its own bonding curve, AMM, or token program.
What Token22 adds is the page around the launch: the creator wallet, the size of the dev buy, and what the creator still holds, all in one place.
A coin is recorded only after Solana confirms the create. If the image cannot be saved or the launch index is not ready, Create stops and says what is blocked. It does not call that coin launched.
Creating a coin
LiveGo to Create and connect Phantom or Solflare. Name and ticker are required, along with a coin image. Description and social links are optional but show on your coin page.
Images can be PNG, JPG, WEBP, or GIF up to 15MB. Square images render best. A banner is optional.
Before anything is created, a confirmation step repeats the name, ticker, SOL quote, and initial buy. Create does not ask you to join a pool. Nothing is submitted until you confirm and your wallet signs.
Create needs a working index before it will ask your wallet to sign. When signing is on, your wallet approves the transaction and Token22 waits for Solana. When signing is off, Create only previews the transaction and does not send it.
Mint address
LiveCreate uses a normal random mint address. Prepare does not search unless you turn on “T22 vanity address (slow)”. That search shows “Finding T22 address…” and stops at a time limit. If it stops, nothing is created. Token22 does not fill in a different address. Back cancels the search. Try again, or turn the option off and prepare with a normal mint.
The prefix is case-sensitive. An address that starts with t22 is not treated as a vanity hit.
Launch receipt
LiveAfter Solana confirms a launch, Create and the coin page show a receipt with the T22 mark, the mint address, and the Solscan link.
Coin pages carry a share title, description, and image for that receipt.
Explore
LiveExplore shows coins launched through Token22. It does not pull an outside feed. A row appears after Solana confirms the create, with the coin image, name, ticker, creator wallet, and dev buy.
Create needs a working index. If the index is not ready, Create will not ask your wallet to sign. A preview can still simulate the transaction. Nothing is listed until Solana confirms the launch.
Initial buy
LiveThe initial buy is the amount of your own coin you purchase at launch. Pick a preset, enter a custom amount, or choose no dev buy. None is shown on the coin page as “None”.
The initial buy is SOL, built as buy_v2. When it fits with create in one Solana packet, they confirm together. When that packet would exceed 1232 bytes, your wallet signs create and then the buy, in that order. The buy allows up to 1% extra SOL as a slippage ceiling. On a new curve that ceiling is not an added Token22 fee. USDC is not a quote Token22 will build.
Budget for Solana rent and network fees on top of the buy. Your wallet shows the debit before you approve. Token22 adds no fee.
Trading
LiveCreate and launch memecoins with advanced Token22 launch features. After Solana confirms a launch, the coin page links out to trade. Token22 adds no fee.
Creator transparency
LiveCoins created through Token22 show the creator wallet, the initial dev buy, current creator holdings, the creation transaction, and the time of launch.
Token22 Safe
A launch profile with a fixed checklist at mint.
- Fixed supply
- No freeze authority
- No mint authority after launch
- No free creator allocation
- Creator wallet public
- Immutable launch configuration
- Liquidity policy disclosed
Fair Launch
Supporters join the first buy before public trading begins.
Custom Pair
Launch against a supported asset. Create submits SOL. USDC stays disabled.
Equal Pool
Equal Pool is optional. Create still launches a coin with no pool and no pool badge. Open Pools to see pools waiting for funding, how much has been raised against the target, how many funders have joined, how much time is left, and the status.
Anyone can start a pool with a name, ticker, image, and a target from 1 to 20 SOL. Anyone can join. There is no whitelist. Funders receive the same token amount. That is an equal bag, not the same price on the curve. Pools carry a 10% fee on the buy. Your SOL goes into an on chain escrow and comes back if the pool does not fill.
